CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR)/ TELLER

Summary:
Under the leadership and guidance of the Lead Teller, our CSR
provides services to our bank’s customers relative to established accounts and
programs as well as recommends additional banking services. CSR work is subject
to audit and verification. As required, CSR’s may provide some training and
guidance to less experienced employees.
Job Responsibilities:
• Comply with all Bank regulations, which include
CSR parameters of differences, guidelines for check cashing and cash
limits.
• Foster excellent customer relationships and project a positive
image of Fairport Savings Bank exemplifying the Bank’s core values including
team work, dedication, excellence encouragement and visibility throughout the
communities in which we serve.
• Perform accurate processing of monetary and
paper transactions in a timely, exact and productive manner while practicing
exact daily balancing procedures.
• Assist customers processing transactions
for their FSB accounts, including Savings, Certificates of Deposit, Checking and
Money Market Accounts as well as Personal and Mortgage Loan payments, issuance
Official Bank Checks and Travelers Cheques.
• Periodic rotation assignments
among banking offices and Saturday banking hours.
• When assigned, cover a
CSR position at another branch office (including Saturdays).

• Accurate
daily balancing.
• Working knowledge and understanding of bank products and
procedures.
• Ability to recognize cross sell opportunities and generate
qualified referrals.
• Ability to resolve customer inquires/problems through
research and proper channels.
• Knowledge and understanding of teller
applications via the computer.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma required, with ongoing education to
attain a strong working knowledge of banking practices, procedures, products and
services.
• Working knowledge of customer service practices and procedures.
Two (2) years of retail customer service experience preferred.
• Banking
and/or cash handling experience is desired.
• Ability to effectively utilize
personal computers and business calculators.
