ASPENLEITER EARNS CFP® CERTIFICATION
Daniel J. Aspenleiter, Vice President of Oakleaf Services Corporation, has obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification. Oakleaf Services Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fairport Savings Bank providing investment and insurance services.
The CFP® certification process, administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc, identifies to the public that those individuals who have been authorized to use the CFP® certification marks in the United States have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of the CFP Board when dealing with clients. Among other strict requirements, CFP® certificants must pass the comprehensive CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® certificants also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards.

Aspenleiter has over 13 years experience in the financial services business. He has been with Fairport Savings Bank for the past six years and was hired to manage Oakleaf Services Corporation. Prior to joining Oakleaf and Fairport Savings Bank, he worked as a Branch Manager and Investment Representative with M&T Bank. A graduate of SUNY Brockport, Aspenleiter resides in Webster, NY.
