In addition to a more efficient, streamlined appearance our web site now features an improved Bill Pay service that allows you to pay all your bills with the click of a mouse. No more stamps to buy! It’s easy to sign up for Bill Pay and with all Fairport Savings Bank checking accounts, it’s free. To find out more, contact your local branch office.
How To Get Started with Bill Pay
Once you are enrolled in Online Banking all you need to do is click on the Bill Payment Tab to enroll. You will receive a message that says: Congratulations, you are now signed up for bill pay.
Now you will click on the Add Payee tab. Complete all of the information and submit. Add all of the payees you will be sending payments to. You may make one payment at a time or click on the multiple payment tab and fill in the amount and date, if you do not want the payment sent on the current day, for each payee you would like to pay on a particular day. It couldn’t be easier.
Your initial payment will be sent by check and if the payee is accepting ACH payments each subsequent payment will be electronic. Please allow 3-5 business days for delivery. You can also set up recurring payments for those that do not change in amount from month to month.
To pay a Fairport Savings Bank loan from a Fairport Savings Bank Checking account please use the transfer function. Each of these processes is explained fully in the Help Document located in the upper right hand side of the accounts page in Online Banking.
