More Secure and Easier Online Banking
In order to make your online banking experience as secure as possible, Fairport Savings Bank uses a high level security service. This new security service will check for any unusual or uncharacteristic behavior involving your account. If our bank site detects anything out of the ordinary they will check to make sure it is really you and not an online thief making the request.
This new security service ensures that someone is always looking out for your security when you are banking online.
How it works:
- You select five security questions that only you should know the answers to and provide at least one phone number where you can be reached when banking online.
- If any unusual or uncharacteristic behavior is detected you may be asked your security questions in order to verify that it is really you. You may also receive an automated call to your to verify your identity.
- If no unusual or uncharacteristic behavior is detected you will not be asked for anyadditional information.
-You will be asked to verify and resubmit your questions, answers and telephone numbers periodically.
With this security feature your online banking experience is safer than ever before.
